A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur’s Court, auteur Mark Twain, leesniveau B1 Hank Morgan, skilled mechanic in 19th century New England, is struck on the head in a fight – but when he comes to, he finds himself in King Arthur’s knightly Court at Camelot. He makes it his goal to “boss the whole country inside of three weeks”, planning to modernise Camelot with 19th century industrial inventions like electricity and gunfire. But it isn’t long before all hell breaks loose!
